Tickets may be prepaid before the court date by signing the upper right side of the ticket and remitting the signed ticket with fine and court costs according to the fine schedule before the court date. Payments can be made in person at City Hall at 109 Second Street, Monroe City, Missouri, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday excluding holidays. Personal checks are not accepted; payment must be by money order or cashier's check.

The Monroe City page also tells users to check the case at courts.mo.gov and, if available, pay the fine through the court website.
